Multi-blade lines

Multi-blade lines

To optimise the automation of the fixed-blade multi-blade machine, it is essential to assess the geometry of the cross-section of the incoming material. This factor determines the configuration of the loading system, the machine’s feed roller conveyor and the unloading system for the sawn pieces.

The main types of large timber to be processed are:

  • prismatic timber, with a fully edged rectangular cross-section;
  • timber edged on one side and rough on the other;
  • timber with both sides rough.

Based on the characteristics of the material, we design the technological solution best suited to specific production requirements.

Types of machinery that form part of CMS automation systems for multi-blade machines
