Robotic systems for stacking and destacking boards

At CMS, we draw on our expertise in the field of robotics to design and build systems for theautomated stacking of sawn timber from any cutting machine, ensuring optimal management of the stock of boards. We manufacture automatic stacking machines that can be installed downstream of any type of cutting machine, and we apply the same concept to destacking as well, which is useful for removing strips or feeding other machines.

Our Cartesian robots are renowned for their robustness and reliability and have been in operation in Italian sawmills for many years. We can configure the gripping system with a pneumatic gripper manufactured in-house or with suction cups.
