Designed for operational flexibility and integration into modern production facilities, the CMS AG-1200 is a robot dedicated to the automatic picking and loading of pressed (agglomerate) caps, compatible with Industry 4.0 requirements.
The system is equipped with a pneumatic gripper system on all four sides, which allows the entire plane of corks to be picked up in a stable and safe manner, minimising the risk of falling during handling.
The movement of the gripper unit is controlled by brushless motors, for fast cycles and precise deposits on the cork receiving belts. From here, the caps are transferred to the transport chains of the AL3 feeder, and then to the PT-150 robot that loads them onto the nailer. On the way, the caps slide on chains with a pneumatic lifting system, which also allows the use of wooden caps when required by the order.
Innovative and patented is the mechanical paper removal system, which operates without suction cups, guaranteeing maximum reliability and minimising machine downtime. The lifting system of the pallet being processed allows the robot to be installed even in environments with low ceilings. Depending on the model and the available space, this system can be configured to load different caps between the side and centre channels of the pallet (EPAL), or to distribute the same type of cap over the entire structure.
The compact and optimised design allows for a smaller footprint than other solutions on the market, a real advantage resulting from our experience in integrating third-party systems.
Fully interfaced with remote supervision systems, the robot allows the adjustment of all operating parameters via an intuitive touch screen, facilitating management by the operator.
